Poor Very tatty reading copy. The illustrations are all clean and bright. The story pages are a little grubby. The endpapers are grubby. There is a gift inscription. The spine has split and been repaired with brown paper tape which is peeling. There are a few pencil crayon marks to the front face of the cover. Good Plus Good Illustrated endpapers. A few of the pages are thumbed. The illustrated pages are all very clean and bright. There is some yellowing to the endpapers. The tips of the bottom corners of the endpapers have been folded over. The jacket is a little grubby and grubby to the reverse. There is a crease across the bottom front margin which links a split to the front flap fold corner and a little loss from the front spine fold. There is a pecil crayon mark to the back face of the jacket.
