Fair The cover is blue. The tales which are featured are: The Snow Queen, The Flying Trunk, and the Ugly Duckling. The pages are mostly clean and bright. There is a presentation plate from 1967. The corners are heavily bumped and rubbed. The spine is edge worn and splitting the back fold. The ends of the spine are worn and broken with some loss. The back cover is a little stained.

Poor Tatty. The pages are generally clean and bright but some stains, yellowing and grubby marks. Some corners turned. Pages ends grubby and stained. Endpapers grubby and yellowed. Inscription, in ink, on Flyleaf. FFep missing. Some pages torn and one or two missing. Crack to binding. Covers grubby marks and some stains. Bumped and worn to spine and corners. Some edge wear. Cover is red with gold lettering. It shows a boy and a girl walking along a path in a wood being approached by a lady on a white horse. The spine shows a young man approaching a castle with his worldly goods bundled on the end of a pole over his shoulder. No publishing date in book but inscription date 1909. Tatty Reading Copy Only. Please do not buy if you cannot ignore it's defects.***NB this book is too heavy to send outside UK without additional postage costs***
