Good An antiquarian view of the Solar System in the late 19th Century. Includes 15 plates of such subjects as Halley's Comet, Crateriform Structure of the Moon and more. These are drawn by viewing through the most up to date telescopes of that era.Pages are very slightly yellowed and spotted but generally very clean and bright. A few pages protrude slightly, these being plates of drawings. Endpapers are slightly foxed. Endpapers are marbled, as are page edges, and there has been a sticker removed from inside front cover. There is a number, in ink, on flyleaf. Covers are half leather. Spine decorated in gilt with 4 raised bands. Boards are chipped, slightly scratched and stained. Spine and corners are bumped, rubbed and slightly worn but overall, for age, still in remarkable condition.
