Fair Good/Fair Most probably and ex-library book. A few of the pages are marked and foxed. The page edges are very grubby. The endpapers are yellowed and stained. There is writing on the front endpapers. The book leans slightly. The flaps of the jacket have been stuck to the pastedowns. The flaps have had some of the covering ripped off and it is hard to read the description of the book on the front flap. The jacket is crinkled with edge wear and is very grubby to the rear face. The jacket is mounted on cardboard which can't be seen. Great period illustration of the Owl entering a window with a safe to the side on the front face of the jacket. Please do not buy this book if you cannot ignore its defects.
