Fair The pages are generally bright but some grubby marks and slight yellowing. Page ends slightly grubby. Endpapers yellowed and grubby marks. Some wear to bottom edge of pastedown. Some binding loose. Inscription, in ink, on FFep. Name and address, in ink, on illustrations list page. Title page and frontispiece slightly foxed. Last 8 pages are illustrated (B/W) ads of some of the SSU catalogue. Covers generally clean with some grubby marks. Heavy bumping and wear to spine, corners and edges. Top and bottom spine small loss due to wear. Cover is red with blue lettering in yellow scrolls. It has 3 fairy story illustrations: a leaping dog, a girl and a raven and an old haggard in chair with small girl walking away. There are 5 stories the first of which is Megan and the Magic Forefinger. No publishing date in book but inscription dated 1912. Inside is good, outside a little worse for wear but remember it is almost a century old and it is also very rare. Overall, I would say, a lovely copy.
