There is a crack to the binding. There is a doodle in pencil on the front endpaper. There is a presentation plate from 1927. The corners of the cover are heavily rubbed. The cover is slightly edge worn. The spine is worn with loss to the top 1/5. The rear cover is stained.

The book belongs to boxes completed and dated 1930. There is a gift inscription from 1949. There is some drawing in pencil on the reverse of the front endpaper. The cover is rubbed to the edges. The corners are rubbed. The spine is very clean and bright.
