Good++ Good The pages are clean and bright with some very slight yellowing around edges. Endpapers slightly yellowed. Date, in ink, on FFep. NOT ex-library. Covers generally clean with slight marking around edges. The spine and corners are slightly bumped. D/J is generally clean, clipped with some grubby marks. Some bumping to spine with edge wear. Corners worn. Closed repair to small split on front fold. No publishing date in book but states Copyright 1959. Price is clipped so no clue there but is certainly seems it could be that date. Slightly larger print. NB: although this is a biography of a very famous artist there are no illustrations in this book! Now in clear, removable plastic cover. Overall very good copy.
