Very pretty laminated cover. Black and white in 2 unequal parts. The black part shows a frieze of girls in various activities spanning the front and back cover. The illustration is in colour. Below black titles on the white background. There is a gift inscription from 1923 otherwise undated. Colour frontispiece and line drawings throughout. Some in the style of Anne Andersen. A few of the pages have a black stain to the inner margin. The page edges are a little grubby and have some pen marks. Unseen when the book is open. The endpapers are yeloowed. The cover is a little edgeworn. The corners and spine are bumped and worn. There is a slight split to the top of the spine this has been reinforced with magic tape.
